“Drivers are being warned that the northbound A1 will be closed this weekend, as part of the Leeming to Barton improvement scheme.
It’s going to close between Junction 51 (Leeming Bar) and Catterick North from 8pm on Saturday until 6am on Monday.

The southbound carriageway will remain open.
Northbound traffic will be diverted off the A1 at Junction 49 and rejoin at Junction 60.”
