CALORIE BANKING SANDWICH DAYS.
This can be used when ever there is a celebration that has a large feast involved…… I think you know which day I'm thinking of!
It's healthy to realises that life is all about balance and you need days when you can be a bit loose about nutrition and focus on pleasure.
If you are trying to lose weight, or just trying not gain then you could use calorie banking this festive season.
Sandwich the feasting day/s between low calories days. For example; if you have a day of eating on 25th then the 24th and 26th should be low calorie days in order to 'bank' some calories to be 'spent' on the 25th.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN CUTTING OUT CARBS!
Here's how;
Go small on portion size.
Focus each meal around fruit/veg.
Drink oodles of water
Stay clear of sugary foods and treats.
Christmas day is very often packed with protein so making your banking days vegetarian will help to level out the protein intake.
