F.L.E.C.S courses are back this week! The Thursday class is booked up again but there are places left on the Friday evening class 6-7pm.
WHAT IS FLECS?
FLECS stands for Flexibility, Lengthening, Endurance, Core and Strength. It is a non cardio (although using big muscle groups does leave your heart rate elevated) class working through a series of exercises all using inflatable Swiss fitness balls. I have developed the exercises using my background in ballet training and knowledge of building long flexible muscle. Each exercise incorporates all elements of FLECS and targets balance (a huge workout for the core) muscle tone and posture. It aids flexibility and releases physical tension and as it is all set to classical and relaxing music the mind gets to unwind as the body works out.
