Hello! A little mid summer dieting advice for those who follow diet plans. Please be careful when downloading diet plans from the internet or following plans that haven't been carefully written for you. A diet plan should be tailored to an individual by a nutritionally qualified professional who can balance all the micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) as well as the macronutrients (fats, carbs, proteins) as following a plan lacking in any of the above long-term can have big implications on health. All lifestages have different nutritional needs which is the same for various lifestyles and health conditions.
Just because 'Pam from the gym' lost tons of weight following her plan does not mean it will work for you, and, even though 'Susan from down the road' built loads of muscle and shed body fat doesn't mean it was in a healthy way! Please look after your health needs folks, looking good on the outside doesn't necessarily mean optimum health on the inside! Professionals needs qualifications for a reason….ask for them! 👍
