The world is very intense at the moment. Questions from homeschool, information on the news, trying to hold a smile through the zoom call, worrying if the kids are ok, trying to hold our tempers, family friction and exhaustion….. all taking up head space.
It’s good to step out of that busy situation and look in with a different perspective.
It’s good to have quiet ears, listening to just a few sounds.
It’s good to just be and not do, or sort, or fix anything.
I’m making an effort to try and take myself off on a quiet walk, a couple of times a week, to give my senses and emotions a rest. To get clarity on the tangled thoughts of chaotic days.
