SOUP! A GREAT CHOICE THIS SEASON.
The nights are cold and drawing in early and we often find ourselves reaching for the comfort foods.
What about reaching for a bowl of soup instead?
Soup is hydrating, filling (due to the way the water molecules are held with in the food) and can be very healthy.
It is also a great way to use up leftovers this Christmas.
If you are watching your calorie intake, or just trying to do a bit of damage control over the festive period then chose a veg soup without the cream and go easy on the bread. However, you should have a slice…… CARBS ARE NOT THE ENEMY!
