What do you put in your smoothie?
Today I added some frozen berries to give it a summer taste and a refreshing icey texture.
I often add a spoonful of spirulina or chlorella powder for a boost of zinc, iron, B12, Vit E, Vit A and manganese. You only need a bit though!
My 3 kiddies are usually happy to drink my smoothies and the use of our bright reusable straws help to tempt them to try even the strangest looking ones.
If you are watching your weight or limiting free sugars then stick to 200ml of smoothie or fruit juice per day.
